Welcome to Shropshire Aero Club, the premier home to general aviation in Shropshire since 1955. ​

The cafe, club, and airfield are open to the public and visitors by air or road 7 days a week. 

Open everyday apart from Christmas Day.

WHAT A DELIGHTFUL AIRFIELD IT IS"

Sleap was on my list of airfields to visit in 2024 but never materialised, however, managed it on Monday 7th April 2025; what a delightful airfield it is too. Efficient radio service, helpful and friendly staff on reception and a very pleasant cafe in the old watch tower. Good quality paved surfaces and plenty of parking on the grass. Recommended!

Visit Sleap Airfield

With onsite museum, restaurant and all sorts of exciting & vintage aircraft flying, there is always plenty to see and do at Shropshire Aero Club.

​

The historical and quaint market town of Shrewsbury is only a 15-minute taxi ride away.
