THE UK'S ANSWER TO OSHKOSH
Shropshire Aero Club, based at Sleap Airfield is once again hosting SleapKosh on the 2nd weekend of July 2026.
Back from our best year ever, expect a weekend of flying, warbirds, beer and relaxed vibes - the most talked about and biggest GA event of the year!
Fly-in and camp under wing for this one-of-a-kind event in the UK, with a huge 2 day airshow including amazing air dispays, trade stalls and exhibitors from the very best GA companies, live music from great local bands, and a massive beer tent.
With 500 visiting aircraft, make sure you're there!
WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO
A weekend filled with like minded aviation lovers, it's an exclusive weekend for fly-In visitors and SAC members only. We set out to create a relaxed weekend for pilots, by pilots and are improving the event year on year.
This year you can expect improved food offerings, massive airshow on Friday and Saturday with some of the very best airshow acts you can see anywhere, quiet camping area, bigger exhibitor area, better toilets and of course, just as much beer.

FLYING IN
Day Visit
£35
Day visit landing fee - Includes 2 wristbands (Pilot + 1 Passenger). This is just visiting for the day, access to the airshow and trade show, but does not include camping/overnight parking.
weekend & camping
£60
Camp underwing/park overnight for either one or two nights, all for the same price.
Includes 2 wristbands (Pilot + 1 Passenger), access to the airshow, trade show, showers and beer tent!
Book in before the 1st of May 2026 for a free pint on arrival!
Guest Wristbands
The event is only open to fly-in visitors, their passengers/guests, SAC members and their guests. There is no tickets on sale to the public and there will be no public road access.
Flying to SleapKosh?
If you have booked in your aircraft via our online portal you'll be sent your wristbands beforehand. If you and your guests want, you can drive in on the day instead of flying if required, security will just need your aircfraft REG on arrival at the gate.You can purchase more guest wristbands for more passengers when booking your aircraft in.
Driving to SleapKosh?
Only SAC members & guests of those with a wristbands present via the aircraft booking can drive in.
You can become a member by contacting the office.
Only 'Flying Memberships (£180/y)' can bring guests, assocaite membership for only £55 is for the single member.
Kids under 16 can go free with a member.
Camping/Parking
Camping underwing or the glamorous bell tents will be available for all weekend visitors, on the apron, right in the heart of the festival.
New for 2026 we will be offering a quiet parking zone for those not wishing to park and camp near the music tent. Make sure you read the brief and follow the instructions to get parked in the correct space!
All parking/camping areas with have dedicated toilet and showers with full catering on site. Hotels are available nearby, taxi is best via Uber.
Want to bring a campervan or drive in with a tent? You'll need a guest wristband and will be £30 for your campervan for the weekend.
Guest writstbands are only available online through the PPR portal for fly-in visitors or for SAC members which can be bought from the office.
trade show
The exhibitor and trade show is growing bigger and better for 2026, with some of the biggest brands in the industry attending.
With a dedicated indoor exhibition hangar, aircraft exhibits, simulators, aircraft for sale and a fleamarket, there is plently to see and do.

The event is not open to the public due to space and insurance requirements. The entrance and nearby access must be kept clear for emergency services. Those trying to attend without a wristband will be removed, and may be reported to the police.

Our exhibition and trade show is growing each year meaning there is plently to see every day. Catch up with your favourite brands at their corporate bar areas, see the newest aircraft and grab a deal/sell something at the fleamarket.

tHE AIRSHOW
The cherry on the SleapKosh cake is the airshow.
A 2-day event, the show brings some of the very best airshow acts from the UK and even Europe for your viewing pleasure.
From the impressive 6-ship tight formation aerobatic Team Raven, to vintage warbirds from Hurricane Heritage and the firework spectacular, Airbourne Pyrotechnics.
The night show will take place Friday evening with a parachute drop in the dark and a dazzling fireworks display. The big daytime show has been moved to the Saturday afternoon, leaving the evening for flour bombing and wingwalking! Some of the biggest names in the display world will gather at Sleap for a weekend of phenomenal displays!

FLYING IN - THE BRIEF
With over 500 visiting aircraft arriving, it's very important all fly-in visitors read the joining instructions detailing the fixed joining procedures, radio instructions and information on where to park and go when on the ground.
The 2026 brief will be published very soon, but will be similar to the 2025 procedures which can be found below.
Make sure you read the joining procedures and PPR before all the spaces go!
live music stage
SleapKosh is renowned for its party and 2026 will be no different!
Our live music tent will be filled with top notch bands playing into the evening both Friday and Saturday! Watch this space for some big names!
Friday is the late night party, with Saturday's live music finishing slightly early to allow campers a good sleep before departing Sunday!
speakers corner
A range of interesting speakers throughout the weekend will be gracing the stage of our speakers corner hangar.
The talks from 2025 included FarmStrip flying, Airspace safety, Brinkley/Hartzell, Matt Dearden author of Flying from Shangri-La, building Ewok a breadown from it's pilot on building the one of a kind Pitts S1B "Super Stinker and many more!
Merch
For 2026 we will now be offering a pre order option for all merch. This can be added to your PPR form and purchased alongside your landing fee.
All merch will be posted out with your welcome pack and wristbands so you can arrive in style!
We will have the option like previous years to purchase on the day but there will be a limited amount for sale and will be on a first come first served basis.
So order yours ahead of time if you don't want to miss out!
